The Regina Scarlatta brand was created by Cristian Galeazzi, who was motivated by a great passion for handcrafted woodwork. Growing up in the area around Pesaro, Cristian was influenced by the pipe making tradition of the region. He uses only root wood from Tuscany and Calabria, aged for at least three years in his workshop before carving it. An innate appreciation of classic style is evident in his exquisitely crafted pipes, as is a strong impulse to seek out new shapes and modern lines.

A melding of poor and precious materials characterizes our style, where the strength of metals such as stainless steel and iron are paired with living materials such as wood and wax.

The small imperfections and wrinkles only highlight the natural beauty of the leather, as each skin is unique. Ceramica Pinto

The first of the Pinto family to start out the family business was Vincenzo Pinto – born in Vietri sul Mare in 1870. He rented an old ceramics factory of the beginning of the 19th century, and developed the workshop until the famous tiles began exporting in the 1920s. Many important designers, including Rossi (Founder of the Salerno School of Ceramics), Tot, Rivetti in the 60s, artist Carrano and architect Giò Ponti, collaborated through the years. Rosaura and Carlo Pinto are now at the lead of this historical workshop preserving ancient techniques and designs.

Materials are paramount: he works with natural wood and stones, wrought iron, brass and ceramics, as well as the finest fabrics. Moleria Locchi

The Locchis have been restoring, grinding and carving crystal objects back since the nineteenth century, when the family was commissioned work by the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Situated in the heart of Oltrarno, the florentine southbank, the atelier is now famous all over the world for the quality of its restoration on glass and precious crystal items.

Milano based artist Carla Milesi experimented with concrete since the eighties. In 1987, she established Concreta, a research laboratory within her family’s concrete company. Starck, Ron Arad, Mendini, Sottsass, Citterio, Fiorucci and Anna Mari all collaborated with Concreta sharing their collective know-how. Among her works, Milesi presented 22 light weight concrete silhouettes representing real-life-scale lovers, in Paris, at the Place du Louvre.

La Fornasotta

In an old kiln of Murano, in 1966, a young boy set to work the glass. That boy, Gabriele Urban, has now forty-years of experience in glass blowing and is the master of La Fornasotta, that is, "the furnace" in the Venetian language. The homely cooperative environment enriches the creative development of each collection, resulting in amazing combinations of reflections and colors. The creations of La Fornasotta are the result of a wise and skillful use of ancient techniques: from the classic manufacture of glasses and murrine to mosaic tiles and intricate pieces.
